Mentorship and training leaders is paramount to our future vision.
More now than ever the energy industry needs to train young leaders who want to make a difference, pursue character, and lead by serving others.
The Redman Management Company Growth Program
The Redman Executive Team gives our younger members much responsibility and room to grow into big roles. When we think strategically about our business roadmaps, we are very intentional about identifying how we can accelerate exposure of our younger team members and give them responsibility that stretches their skills and decision making.
Although there are many aspects to what we look for in a leader, the number one thing we look for are people who are FAT. Although FAT may seem like an odd acronym, we live and die by it. FAT stands for Faithful Available and Teachable.
Faithful to show up when asked, faithful to follow through on your promises, faithful to your word, and you seek to serve and be faithful in all circumstances.
Available daily to be used by the team, Available to learn and be put in unfamiliar circumstances.
Study new concepts and then applying those new concepts even when it is scary. Transformation from fear based decisions to embracing I don't know what I don't know.
The Redman Management Company Growth Program is an informal program where young engineers, geologists and business leaders get exposed to experienced leaders in the energy industry.
Disclaimer: WARNING this program is not for the faint of heart, you will be stretched, bent, and molded into the leader you were made to be.
Typical Redman Growth Candidate:
- 5 years or more associated experience within the oil and gas sector.
- Preferably an MBA or equivalent experience and a deep thirst to learn what it takes to have the wisdom of a leader.
- Wisdom of a leader = Mission + Excellence + Kindness + Discipline + Courage
